📦 Variants & packaging
Nine APK variants install side-by-side via different package names — Normal (banner.hub), Normal-GHL (gamehub.lite), PuBG, AnTuTu, alt-AnTuTu, PuBG-CrossFire, Ludashi, Genshin and Original. Performance-spoof variants push the device harder (more heat) — use with proper cooling. All signed with a consistent key for in-place updates.
Built on the GameHub 5.3.5 ReVanced base
BannerHub is built on the GameHub 5.3.5 ReVanced base maintained by PlayDay (playday3008/gamehub-patches, GPLv3) — a set of ReVanced Patcher modifications to XiaoJi GameHub. Much of BannerHub's "core" behaviour comes from that patch lineage; BannerHub layers its store integrations, AI Frame Generation wiring, vibration and config system on top.
From the ReVanced patch set
- Bypass login — use the app with no account.
- Privacy patches — disable analytics, push, heartbeat playtime, OTA updates & cloud timer; manifest cleanup & promo removal.
- Mute UI sounds, file-manager access provider, and an external launcher hook.
- Steam patches — force Steam TCP, force Steam input, Steam CDN, SD-card storage, Steam playtime.
- Performance-metrics overlay and RTS touch controls.
- Game-ID display, hide-recommended-games, compatibility fallback, account-currency, settings menu, package/app rename.
…and from GameHub 5.3.5 itself
- The Wine + Box64 / FEX runtime for Windows games.
- Container / Wine-prefix management and the in-game sidebar.
- Native Steam client integration (the 5.3.5 base is pinned for Steam-card support).
- The DXVK / VKD3D / Box64 component pipeline.
BannerHub then adds: GOG / Epic (incl. EOS) / Amazon stores with DLC & cloud saves, the in-app download manager, AI Frame Generation, PC-accurate rumble, front-end export and the community-config library (see above).

Release history
Every notable feature and fix, newest first. Each version links to its full GitHub release notes.
- Offline launch for imported PC games — any non-Steam game that has launched online once will now launch with no network (config / recommendation / dependency tasks are skipped offline and re-sync on reconnect).
- Preload-free rumble — removes
libevshim.soand patcheswinebus.soon disk instead, eliminating thec000007bcrash that broke every x86_64 / Box64 game launch on v3.7.0–v3.7.3. Sustained rumble preserved. (TideGear PR #91)
- GOG multi-CDN failover + resumable PARTIAL install state + a CDN picker with refresh, so one bad endpoint no longer kills an install.
- AI Frame Generation reliability — overlay survives backgrounding (onResume re-apply), gear hides when off, cleaner translucent dialog.
- Hotfix — the launch-time auto-update dialog no longer probes upstream GameHub (it was offering to replace BannerHub with stock GameHub 6.0.1).
- Hotfix — Settings → About → "Check Update" no longer phones upstream GameHub; BannerHub is intentionally pinned to the 5.3.5 / versionCode 78 base (required for Steam-card visibility).
- In-game AI Frame Generation menu — drives GameHub 6.0.1's optical-flow engine: 6 presets, 2×/3×/4× multiplier, custom flow-scale slider, persistent across launches.
- PC-accurate Vibration / Rumble — independent low/high motors, single-motor blend fallback, sustained holds, instant release, multi-controller. (TideGear PR #80)
- Epic Online Services — Phase 1 (online auth) — EOS-integrated Epic games (e.g. Fall Guys) now authenticate for online multiplayer, with a blue "EOS" badge in your Epic library. (ported from GameNative)
- SD-card toggle decoupled from Steam; per-download speed picker (4–24 threads / Auto); Epic CDN auto-ranking by latency; downloads-screen UX (store badges, tappable cards).
- External storage (SD card) for GOG / Epic / Amazon downloads; install-location display with badges; uninstall spinner & reliability; GOG cosmetic-file skip.
- ES-DE frontend export; dynamic versioning (BannerHub reports its own version to Android for Obtainium); v3.4.1 hotfix restored the Frontend Export option in stable builds.
- Background download foreground-service; in-app cross-store download manager with live progress; dashboard download shortcut with live count badge.
- Expanded config detail screen (up to 11 rows — Wine/DXVK/VKD3D/GPU driver/FEX/Box64/etc.); Frontend Export to Beacon; Beacon integration fixes.
- Full-screen game detail pages (GOG/Epic/Amazon); update checker; per-game DLC management; cloud saves (GOG + Epic); Epic free-games redesign.
- Config metadata
app_sourcetagging and documented config cross-compatibility with BannerHub Lite (shared SharedPreferences keys).
- Export/Import config fixes (correct gameId resolution, component scoping), GOG Akamai CDN URL fix, Genshin package-name casing fix.
